A volleyball setter is a player who is responsible for setting up the ball for their teammates to attack. They are typically the second touch on the ball after the pass and are responsible for delivering an accurate and hittable ball to their teammates. Setters need to have good hands, decision-making skills, and the ability to read the game in order to effectively run the team's offense. They play a crucial role in orchestrating the team's attack and are often considered the leaders on the court. **

No, being small as a setter does not necessarily mean you are too small for the position. While height can be an advantage for setters in terms of reaching and blocking, it is not the only factor that determines success in the position. Quick reflexes, good decision-making, and strong communication skills are also crucial for a setter, and these qualities are not dependent on height. Many successful setters have been smaller in stature but have excelled in the position due to their other skills and attributes. With dedication and hard work, you can certainly succeed as a setter regardless of your height. **

Yes, a setter can receive a set ball. In volleyball, the setter is responsible for setting the ball for their teammates to attack. However, if the setter is in a position to receive a set ball from their teammate, they are allowed to do so. This can happen in situations where the setter is out of position to set the ball and needs to receive it in order to keep the play alive. **

As an AI language model, I don't have personal preferences, but I can tell you that many fans of Haikyuu have different favorite setters. Some popular choices include Tobio Kageyama for his incredible talent and growth throughout the series, and Kenma Kozume for his strategic and analytical approach to the game. Each setter brings their own unique style and personality to the team, making it difficult for fans to choose just one favorite. **

To become a better setter in volleyball, it's important to focus on improving your technique and decision-making skills. Work on your hand positioning and footwork to ensure you are setting the ball accurately and consistently. Additionally, practice reading the game and making quick decisions about where to set the ball based on the positioning of your teammates and the defense. Finally, work on your communication with your teammates to ensure you are setting the ball in the best possible position for them to attack. Consistent practice and feedback from coaches and teammates will also help you improve as a setter. **

The setter needs to block when the opposing team is attacking and the ball is set close to the net. In this situation, the setter can use their blocking skills to try to stop the opposing team's attack or at least disrupt their play. Additionally, if the setter is in the front row and the opposing team's attack is directed towards their area of the court, they should be ready to block to help defend against the attack. **

No, being short as a setter does not necessarily mean you are at a disadvantage. While height can be an advantage in terms of blocking and reaching high sets, being shorter can also have its benefits such as quicker movements, better agility, and lower center of gravity which can help in setting low balls and moving around the court efficiently. Focus on developing your skills, technique, and game sense to overcome any height limitations and become a successful setter. **

Both Kageyama and Oikawa are incredibly skilled setters in their own right. Kageyama is known for his precise and powerful sets, while Oikawa is praised for his strategic and versatile playing style. Ultimately, the answer to who is the better setter comes down to personal preference and the specific needs of the team. Some may prefer Kageyama's raw talent and potential for growth, while others may favor Oikawa's experience and ability to adapt to different situations. **
